7-Up Cake


It's elegant, delicious and perfect for any crowd!

...7 up cake recipe....

1 1/2 cups (3 sticks) butter
3 cups sugar
5 eggs
3 cups flour
1 fluid ounce almond extract (1 bottle)
3/4 cup 7-up

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy
Add eggs one at a time and beat well and then
Add in flour. Beat in almond extract and 7-up

Pour batter into well greased and floured bundt or angel food cake pan
(this recipe makes a little more than 1 cake- so have your muffin tin ready for a few extra cupcakes, too.

Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/4 hours. check with toothpick.

Serve with powdered sugar, fresh fruit and/or whipped cream.
